The OMS Doctors Dr. Conibear is highly published and renowned in the field of occupational medicine with over 27 years of experience. Presently she serves as Consulting Medical Director to such firms as AT & T, US Gypsum, Eastman Chemical and ICI Paints. She is active daily in the clinic, and performs and oversees comprehensive patient exams to evaluate fitness-for-duty, disability and workers' compensation issues as well as DOT and OSHA compliance physicals. Dr. Conibear also developed a Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) clarification program which has greatly reduced fraud and abuse as a cost containment service for our clients. Dr. Conibear is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine and residency trained in Family Medicine. She also holds a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois. She is a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) and a Board-Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME).
Dr. Khuri has been affiliated with OMS for the past five years. He has extensive experience in Occupational Health, having served as Medical Director for Wesley Memorial Hospital for nine years and for the Santa Fe Railroad, (later named Burlington Northern Santa Fe) for 18 years. During his tenure at Santa Fe, Dr Khuri developed an occupational health
department and designed a hearing conservation program, a drug testing program,
a disability management program, an industrial hygiene program and an employee
assistance program. His skills in occupational and internal medicine add to the
depth of the OMS staff. Dr. Khuri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine,
Board-Certified in Occupational Medicine, holds a Masters Degree in Public
Health (MPH) from the University of Illinois and is a Board-Certified Medical
Review Officer (MRO). Dr. Khuri performs comprehensive A hands-on physicals for DOT, FRA and
OSHA compliance, executive exams, pre/post employment exams, fitness-for-duty
exams, and disability and workers'
compensation exams. He also serves on our staff of Family Medical Leave Act
(FMLA) clarification physicians for OMS clients and was appointed by the
American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) to a
committee on Drug and Alcohol Abuse. Dr. Khuri is also certified by the American
Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME).
Ms. Henley plays an integral part in the total operation of the OMS clinic.
She is the primary contact in all scheduling and communications with
clients. From scheduling to billing, she is responsible for staffing and
scheduling doctors exams, DOT and
OSHA compliance exams, drug screens, respirator wearer physicals and fitness
testing procedures both in the OMS clinic and at the client=
s work-site. She supervises and trains medical assistants in the clinic to
afford quality and accuracy in maintaining patient test results, confidential
medical records, data entry and storage. Ms. Henley oversees maintenance,
certification and inspection of all lab and medical test equipment, such as
x-ray, EKG, vision, audiometric, neurometry plus ancillary items. She is a
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an Associates Degree from Robert Morris
College. She is also certified in Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol
Technician (BAT), Occupational Hearing Conservationist, Pulmonary Function
Testing (PFT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), CPR/First Aid, Hair Analysis
for drug testing, and Blood Borne Pathogen Trainer. Ms. Boysen is in charge of Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) for the IME projects at The OMS, Ltd. Ms. Boysen brings to OMS more than ten years of experience as Human Resources Director for a well-established consulting firm in downtown Chicago, and prior to that, more than five years of experience as a paralegal for a variety of specialty law firms. Ms. Boysen's training and experience as a certified SPHR provides a uniquely valuable ability to orchestrate the concerns of the various parties in the FMLA process from the employer, the employee, and the Department of Labor. Ms. Boysen brings exclusive talents to OMS in coordinating IME projects, QAQC, follow-up, and consulting with OMS staff. As Senior IME Coordinator since 2004, she has extensive experience with hundreds of FMLA second and third opinions. In addition to her SPHR certification, Ms. Boysen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Denver and is a Certified Drug Screen Collector.
Nancy Eichendorf is a medical/legal secretary to the physicians and staff of OMS. Ms. Eichendorf joined OMS after over 20 years of employment with the Chicago Public Schools. Ms. Eichendorf performs clerical functions for a variety of tasks, including IME’s, FMLA second and third opinions, transcription of medical reports, Internet searches on medical topics and assists with marketing efforts. She also is responsible for maintaining our client and provider databases and is proficient in medical record management. |
