COMPANY OVERVIEW

The OMS, Ltd. was established in 2005 by Dr. Shirley Conibear, a board-certified occupational medicine physician. An occupational medicine practice, The OMS, Ltd. was originally a part of Carnow, Conibear & Assoc., Ltd. (CCA), a firm started by Dr. Conibear and her late husband, Dr. Bertram Carnow, in 1975. CCA (www.ccaltd.com) is a consulting firm that provides environmental engineering, asbestos and lead, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, and construction management services, and originally occupational medicine services. For state regulatory purposes, The OMS Ltd. was split off from CCA and became its own entity. CCA and The OMS, Ltd. are considered "sister" organizations. 

The OMS Ltd. addresses a variety of health and occupational medicine issues, implements programs, and solves problems for a variety of organizations. These organizations include manufacturing and industrial firms, financial and health care institutions, insurance companies, developers, attorneys, and government agencies. It is staffed by five licensed, board-certified physicians, three with board certification in Occupational Medicine and two with board certification in Psychiatry.
